Terrace & Balcony Design
The most under-used square footage in most Delhi NCR homes — and usually the cheapest room you will ever add.
Almost every flat and house in Delhi NCR has a balcony or terrace that has quietly become storage for old furniture and drying racks. Converted properly it becomes the space the family actually uses in the evening, for a fraction of what an extra room costs.
The design constraint is weather. Delhi gives you extreme summer sun, monsoon damp, and dust all year. Materials that are fine indoors will not survive any of it.

What has to survive outdoors
- UV-stable finishes. Ordinary indoor panels fade and go brittle in direct Delhi sun.
- Water-tolerant flooring — deck tiles or outdoor-rated surfaces with proper drainage falls maintained.
- Weather-rated lighting, properly sealed at every connection.
- Rust-resistant fixings throughout — ordinary hardware stains and fails within a monsoon.
- Seating that can stay out, or storage that makes bringing it in effortless.
- Shade and privacy — pergolas, louvered screens or planting, depending on the aspect.

Getting the use right
Before choosing anything, we ask when you will actually use the space. A west-facing balcony is unusable until well after sunset in summer. It needs shade and evening lighting far more than it needs afternoon seating. A north-facing terrace is comfortable most of the year and can carry more planting.
Drainage is the detail people skip and regret. Existing falls must be kept clear when flooring is added. If they are not, the first heavy monsoon shower will pond water against the building wall. That is a far more expensive problem than the terrace itself.

Backed by a 5-year warranty
Every installation carries a written warranty handed to you at completion — not promised verbally and forgotten. Five years on wooden work and interior solutions, three years on hardware. If something fails inside that period, we come back and fix it.
