Mirror-gloss marble and stone effects in a sheet that fits over your existing wall — the look of a stone slab without the weight, the cost or the joints.
UV sheets are large-format boards with a printed stone or marble face and a cured ultraviolet coating over the top. That coating is the point: it is what makes the surface hard, high-gloss, scratch-resistant and slow to fade, instead of the soft printed finish you get on a cheap laminate.
Because they come in large sheets rather than narrow planks, they read as a continuous slab. On a feature wall or a kitchen backsplash you can get close to the look of real marble with a fraction of the weight and none of the cutting, sealing and polishing.

What the UV coating actually does
- Hard, glossy surface. The cured coating resists everyday scratching far better than an uncoated printed sheet.
- Slows fading. UV-stable finishes hold their colour indoors much longer, which is where cheap gloss panels fail first.
- Wipes clean. Non-porous, so kitchen oil and splash come off with a cloth instead of soaking in like real marble.
- No sealing. Real stone needs periodic sealing; this does not.
- Large format. Fewer joints across a wall, so the pattern runs continuously.
Where UV sheets are used
- Kitchen backsplashes — one wipeable sheet instead of tile grout that stains.
- Living room and TV feature walls where a stone look is wanted.
- Reception desks and counter fronts in offices, clinics and salons.
- Bathroom walls and vanity surrounds.
- Wardrobe and cabinet shutters finished to match the wall.
- Lift lobbies and entrance walls in apartment buildings.
An honest word on gloss
High-gloss surfaces are striking, and they are not right for every room. Gloss reflects — which is an advantage in a small, dark space where it bounces light around, and a disadvantage on a large wall facing a bright window, where it will throw glare and show every fingerprint near the switches.
Our usual advice is simple. Use UV sheets where you want the surface to be the statement: a backsplash, a reception front, a bathroom wall. Use a matte charcoal or fluted panel where you want the room to feel calm. Plenty of projects use both, in different rooms. We would rather plan that with you than sell gloss everywhere.
